You are cordially invited to a special film screening of "The Blue Caftan," presented by The Aga Khan Documentation Center, MIT Libraries in collaboration with the Center for Arabic Culture Boston. This screening marks the beginning of an exciting series of joint ventures between our two centers.Join us on Friday, April 12 at 6:30 PM in Room 4-237 at MIT for an evening of cinematic delight and cultural exploration.About the Film:"The Blue Caftan" portrays the journey of Halim and Mina, a couple that run a traditional caftan store in one of Morocco's oldest medinas. In order to keep up with demanding customers, they hire a talented young man as an apprentice.
