Recognizing the powerful symbiosis between MIT and the surrounding innovation ecosystem, he spearheaded important advances beyond our campus as well, including the redevelopment of Kendall Square and the pioneering tough-tech incubator, The Engine.President Reif left an indelible mark on the Institute.
