The MIT wrestling club holds practices in the du Pont Wrestling Room on weeknights 5:30-7pm. All levels of experience welcome! Whether you're looking to learn how to grapple or just want to get in a good workout, wrestling practice is a good time to learn technique, get in some live goes, and have fun with a great group of people.Current schedule is: structured practice MTRF, open mats W, and technique sessions 9-10:30am on Saturday. The MIT Media Lab's Tangible Media Group (TMG) explores the tangible and dynamic relationship between the digital and physical realms.In this lecture, MIT Professor Hiroshi Ishii will showcase the evolution of TMG's vision from Tangible Bits to Radical Atoms, demonstrating how they make bits (digital information) tangible and atoms dance. Ishii will be joined in conversation by MIT Museum Senior Director of Collections Deborah Douglas.Through interactive exhibits of Sandscape, inFORM, and TRANSFORM, the group aims to inspire future creators by exploring new forms of human expression, communication, and design. The work highlights the value of transdisciplinary research, where the boundaries between art, design, science, and technologies are blurred.
