Wuming is proud to stage our spring 2024 production of Rhinoceros in Love. Written by Liao Yimei and originally directed by Meng Jinghui in 1999, this play is known as China's "Love Bible". Join us in celebrating its 25th anniversary! With passion, eccentric characters, and interactive projections, we bring forth an immersive world that blurs the line between reality and fantasy.Directed by Potter Zhang and Nina Li. Produced by Jay Lu. English translation by Prof. Claire Conceison.(Performed in Chinese with English subtitles.)Play Description:A lonely rhinoceros keeper is consumed by an unrequited love for his neighbor. He tries everything to win her heart, veering from passion into obsession and mania.
