The Aerospace Innovation Seminar Series will feature speakers from some of the biggest names in entrepreneurial aerospace — many of whom started as students in AeroAstro!Hailey is the Founder and CEO of Locus Lock, a company dedicated to enhancing GPS technology for industrial and military sectors. Founded with a mission to offer cost-effective, reliable positioning solutions, Locus Lock facilitates automated mobility across ground, aerial, and space environments. Locus Lock is currently headquartered in Denver, Colorado.Hailey possesses a wealth of expertise in the Aerospace and Defense industry, having served in engineering roles at Boeing subsidiary Aurora Flight Sciences, Larry Page's Kittyhawk, and Lockheed Martin. She is also a nationally recognized entrepreneur, honored with distinctions such as Aviation Week Network's 20 Twenties and Austin Inno's 25 under 25. Furthermore, her company, Locus Lock, was chosen as one of eleven portfolio companies in the Fall 2023 Techstars Space Accelerator sponsored by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the United States Space Force.Hailey received a M.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering with a Space Tech Entrepreneurship specialization from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022 and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from MIT in 2019.This seminar series is part of the Certificate in Aerospace Innovation offered by the MIT Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics in collaboration with the Martin Trust MIT Center for Entrepreneurship.
