The Asia Business Conference highlights the key business challenges, practices, and innovations that are shaping Asia today and tomorrow. Through discussion and dialogue, the conference endeavors to create a platform that connects East and West, with the aim of educating and preparing the next generation of leaders in Asia. 

The Africa Innovate Conference (AIC) is the flagship event of the MIT Africa Business Club, bringing together over 250 entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world. Hosted by MIT Sloan students, AIC fosters networking, learning, and collaboration around advancements in technology, business, and social impact within Africa. Through multidisciplinary panels and showcases of groundbreaking initiatives, AIC addresses interconnected challenges and celebrates projects driving positive change on the continent.The MIT Africa Business Challenge 2025, hosted as part of the Africa Innovate Conference, invites participants to collaborate and tackle Africa’s critical challenges under the theme "By Africa, For Africa: A Path to Africa's Economic Sovereignty." The hackathon focuses on creating innovative, sustainable solutions across food security, healthcare, and finance. Participants will connect with peers, industry leaders, and sponsors to ideate, develop, and pitch impactful solutions. The event features virtual problem-solving workshops, team formation, and in-person hackathon presentations on February 28 & March 1, 2025, at the Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship. Saturday, March 1, 2025 Thomas Tull Concert Hall Edward and Joyce Linde Music BuidingMilestones — The influences of Miles Davis MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble Frederick Harris, Jr., Music Director Evan Ziporyn, clarinet & EWIOn the cusp of the Miles Davis centennial in 2026, the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble explores the vast influences of Miles Davis’ work as a trumpeter, composer, and bandleader that redefined jazz again and again. Music from Birth of the Cool through Tutu will be featured along with new music inspired by Davis’ groundbreaking legacy. This concert is a collaboration with Prof. Evan Ziporyn’s “Music of Miles Davis” 21M.128 MIT course offered this spring.
